Renting

if 10 to 11 rooms are added to a 1 family house, but the house is registered as a 1 family, the tenants are refusing to pay the rent and if i keep charging and bothering them, they have threatend to go to city hall and to trenton to talk about my situation, they are going to say that i have the attic rented and the basement. if they do this, will they be heard?

will i loose my house? there is no lease involve and they refuse to leave or pay me, what can i do?
