Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

Restriction on use of driveway access

Leasing residence since 12/99. Residence is one of two with a common driveway running from the front house to back. No one in front house for four months had unrestricted use of driveway since onset of lease.Lease agreement says nothing about acess. New tenants move into front house and we are advised by them and the landlord that only the front house occupants have use of the driveway and we must park on the street. Real estate firm leasing to us never advised of any restrictions of this kind. Help!Help!

Re: Restriction on use of driveway access

I WOULD HAPPY TO ASSIST YOU BUT FIRST I WOULD NEED TO SEE A COPY OF YOUR LEASE. ADDITIONALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOUR LANDLORD EVER DISCUSSED WITH YOU THE USE OF THE DRIVEWAY OR HAD KNOWLEEDGE THAT YOU WERE USING THE DRIVEWAY. PLEASE CALL ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.
