Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
I am not retaining an attorney in my purchase of a home in New Jersey. I am attaching a Rider I drafted up to be included in the real estate contract that both Buyer and Seller will sign. During "attorney review", does the attorney consult with me essentially to agree to the terms/dispute anything?

Unless you are an expert in real estate transactions, and the question indicates that you are not, it is unwise to purchase a home without the assistance of a lawyer. This is perhaps the largest single legal transation that you will make for the forseeable future. None of the other participants in the transaction are squarely on your side including your friendly real estate agent. If something is not right with the transaction, you will be left with the problem to handle on your own. // Attachments don't show on this system. // During attorney review, the attorney of represented parties has the option to disapprove the contract; there may be negotiation for future changes but the only right of action is disapproval. You will not have that option because you are not represented by an attorney.

you don't want to pay a lawyer to help you buy a house for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
but you want to go on this website and ask complicated questions and expect lawyers to answer the questions for free.
hire an attorney. you are headed to serious trouble.
You are very ffolish to attempt to handle a real estate transaction without an Attorney. The mere preparation of a rder without following the rules of Attorney Review is of no value.
