Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

taking over a home nearing foreclosure

I recentlyfound a web site that promises the ability to take over mortgage payments for home owners nearing foreclosure and I was curious if this is just too good to be true, the company states that they help you to find homes in your area and within weeks you can own the home, is this a scam?

Yes, it probably is a scam.

I've heard of too many such offers that leave you with a home that has been foreclosed on and without the money you've paid for it.

If you decide to look into it, and there's no harm in just looking, do NOT sign anything or pay anything until you've had a local real estate lawyer look it over and advise you.

My NJ Office is in Collingswood [Camden County].
