Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

time Frame for contract

I have a signed contract to sell my house which was signed 14 days ago. The purchaser put money in escrow.

Has the time limit lapsed for the purchaser to cancel the contract. The engineer has already inspected the hosue.?

Re: time Frame for contract

If you are asking these questions, then either you do not have an attorney to assist you, or your lawyer is not answering your perfectly sensible questions. Get a lawyer, or get a new lawyer.

Good luck to you.

Without looking at the contract and any letters that followed, it would be impossible to answer your question properly. If you have an attorney, he should be able to answer the question. If you do not have an attorney, you need to get one quickly. Call our office if you need assistance.

I would have to read the contract in order to tell. You also haven't said whether the purchaser signed the contract in the first place.

I am guessing that you are not represented by an attorney. If you need some help with this, please call.
