trees falling into neighbors yard

someone told me that if my tree falls into my neighbors yard it is his responsibility for any damage to his property and removing it from his yard. is this true? a person who does tree removal for a living told me this, but its kind of hard for me to believe.

Not true, you are responsible for damages and removal, however, the liability coverage on your homeowners insurance should cover it.
