Ultlities liability

My tennats left with out paying their gas bill, Gas company automaticly moved their bill from their account to mine, I have been fighting bill for 3years. Am I responsible as lanlord for their bill?

No they can't but they try it all the time and can get very, very annoying and persistent.

If you have the little time to go to Small Claims court and you want to make your point, I have a little legal sleight of hand that you can use to get the case in front of a judge. You won't find it in any rule book, but it will get a judgment one way or the other. Of course, if you force their hand, you run the risk that a judge might see things their way.
