Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey
I own a vacation property with two other parties. One of the three parties wants to sell his part of the ownership while the other two feel it's a bad time to sell real estate. The deed has the three entities included but we aren't a partnership, we're three separate entities.
Legally, how would the party that wants to opt out do so? Can they sell their portion of the ownership but we as the other 2 entities demand approval of the new owner before everything is finalized?
