Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New Jersey
in need of a bull dog lawyer who will do pro-bono
I was unknowing hired for a positition for reasons other than my proffessional abilities. The own and president of the company decided I would be his wife, mother of his children that he was helplessly in love with me. He began giving me gifts, not small ones, $1,600. earings a $12,000. bracelet, roses, cards, emails, he stalked me, harassed me at my home, he sexual attacked me in a parking lot.
When I forcefully turned his advances down he fired me. Recently a prospective employer called this company for a reference and they gave me a horrific reference. I have many correspondance from this company documenting not only the harassment but that they said I was an outstanding employee and wish I'd return to work.
I do not have the funds to retain a lawyer (i consulted one that wanted $1,000) This is a very solid case, but I can not get justice alone and need help. I have filed charges with the EEOC, but I need more than the help they are able to give me.
I could really use some advice.
Thank You!

Re: in need of a bull dog lawyer who will do pro-bono
You took the first step to building your case against this company. You documented the case and filed a complaint with EEOC. Before you can file a lawsuit you need to get a right to sue letter from the EEOC. This might take a few weeks but seeing as you wrote this email a few weeks ago you might already have one. If you still need help you can contact my office. I try to work with people who don't have the money to pay a large retainer. I am sure we can work something out. You can contact my office for a free, no obligation consultation. My toll free number is 877-546-9918. I hope I can help.
