Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New Jersey

Husband being sued for sexual harassment, what are legal effects for wife if he
1990-1992 Husband had an affair with an employee. 1996-Employee sues for sexual harassment. Now going to trial. What are the legal ramifications for the wife, children, home, assets etc..
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If the accuser waited 4 years to sue, why didn't you bring a motion to dismiss on the grounds that the limitations period had run?
