I was employed by the Bonefish Grill owned by OSI corp(outback Steakhouse). About a month or so after i was hired my boss (the managing Partner/Proprietor) my boss was coming on to me verbally and physically. This behavior continued until my leaving employment on August 8th 2007. In mid july i lost my father to a terrible battle with Stage 4 cancer when i returned to work after my loss everything became to much for me and i told my boss that i felt pressured to have sex with him (in which i did not) and with all that was going on in my life i just couldn't handle everything. the following week after the 8th i missed a shift due to a mix up in scheduling I contacted my boss and at that point he told me that i could not return back to work without a release from a doctor due to the depression cause by the loss of my father. I advised him with no coverage that i could not get in to see a therapist (clinic) until the end of sept. and that i would have to apply for temp unemployment benefits during my lay-off he agreed and then put a stop on my benefits he has been in constant contact asked me to come in for dinner to talk on him he prodeed to tell me that he would transfer me to the Outback or Carrabbas all owed by OSI I was surpris

Re: sexual harrassment

It sounds as if you have been the victim of harassment. Time is of the essence in these cases because there are very strict statute of limitations issues. Feel free to call our offices or e-mail me directly and I will provide you with a questionnaire to help prepare a complaint with the Federal Agency and also to determine how much you are entitled to recover. In the meantime, MAKE SURE ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH YOUR EMPLOYER ARE IN WRITING AND YOU SAVE A COPY.
