Legal Question in Tax Law in New Jersey

Irs harrassment

The irs and the tax advocates personnel will not and have not provided me with detailed information concerning changes that relate to the following:

someone has changed my original and ammended 1120 dec. 31, 2002 corporate tax return with-in this government agency.

I have received bills and lien notices stating i owe over $4,000.00! My corporation had a loss. How can i owe?

What are my chances of winning a court fight against the dept. Of treasury in a federal court and which court?

Re: Irs harrassment

You do not say how the assessment took place. Did you ever receive a notice from IRS asserting additional income not reported before, or disallowance of any deduction? Did you formally request a copy of the alleged amended return? Did you request a transcript of your account for 2002? Any response to these requests will start you on the track to unearth what happened. If there were no changes that you were notified of, and you did not change the return, you have a good case to defeat any assessment. You must have received a bill for the additional taxes. Did the bill specify why the taxes were adjusted? You need someone like myself to assist you. If you'd like to discuss this, you can call me at 973-377-3313 or e-mail me with more information. Or, FAX me a copy of the last correspondence you received.
