Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
Accidental Hit but no run
I accidentally hit a women as she was walking down this narrow road. She was with her husband and her dog and i just hit her arm. I turned around to say something because I thought i hit the garbage can which then hit them. I gave her my name and number but she didn't seem to be in too much pain... just angry that she was hit but somewhat thankful i turned around. How much trouble am i looking at if she goes to the police?
