Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I accidentally took the wrong train (Amtrak instead of NJ Transit) and because I didn't have a pass for it, I now I have to pay a fine. The conductor told me that they would mail me a bill and I might have to go to court. Will this go on my permanent record? If so, how bad is it?

Everyone can make a mistake. Pay the fine when the bill comes and be done with worrying about it.
