careless driving a bicycle
i received a ticket for careless driving my bicycle would i need a lawyer when i got to court also what type of fine would i get would i have to do any time,do i need to have the money when i go to court

I literally just had a client with the same type of ticket last night and got it dismissed. That was in South Bound Brook. However, that was a very unique case. A lot depends on how they wrote up the ticket. I am guessing they wrote it up as a municipal ordinance and not under the MV code. Then, I would need to see what the local ord actually states.
However, this is likely a big nothing and I doubt you will need an attorney. You are "probably" looking at a small fine and no jail time at all. However, feel free to email me or call me to discuss it further.
