Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

court with an attorney

I was ticketed for failure to observe traffic light. The officer complained to me that '' you jammed your brake because you saw me'' when he handed me the ticket. I stopped completely at the red light after my night shift on one of the Sunday night. I did not pass the red light as other passing cars did. I went to the court by myself and pleaded not guilty and the judge set up a trial in 3 weeks. I told the judge that i will represent myself because it was simple to explain. Now I wish I can retain an attorney to reprsent me. Is it possible now?

yes, its not too late, but I would work in it very quickly or you may find it hard to get an attorney to jump in at the last minute. I'll be around all weekend, so feel free to give me a call if you want to discuss your case. My initial consultations are always free.
