Does New Jersey have a deferred or suspended sentence option?

Re: Deferred Disposition
In some circumstances both options are, at least theoretically, available. I need to know your circumstances and what you think a deferred sentence is.

Re: Deferred Disposition
In New Jersey on traffic ticket cases there are no deferred or suspended sentences. If you plead guilty or are found guilty to a traffic violation you are expected to pay the fine that day, or at the best you can be put on a payment plan. If it was a criminal matter there are different types of suspended sentences, but that is not an issue here. I am an attorney who has handled numerous cases similar to yours in the past. If you have any further questions regarding this you can reach me at 908-272-0111. Thank you. Sincerely, - Ronald Aronds, Esq. -
