Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
Expired Inspection Sticker
My car was parked in a paking lot at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. I found a ticket on my windshield when I returned to my car. The ticket was for $200 + $25 processing fee for an expired inspection sticker. I was under the impression that you had to be caught ''driving'' a car with an expired inspection sticker to be fined. Should I fight this ticket?

Re: Expired Inspection Sticker
You could, but without an attorney, how far do you think you will get? You are probably better off just getting the car inspected and then going to court to see the prosecutor and work something out with him or her.
