Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I found out that my DL is currently suspended when i balanced my checkbook & realized that DMV hasn't cashed my Jan pmt for a surcharge. I paid the monthly pmt as well as the restoration fee online. I printed the proof of payment. Can I drive as long as I have the print-out?

You need to go into a motor vehicle office and show them your proofs, in order to reinstate your driving privileges. Suspended is suspended, even with the proofs in your pocket.
If you are current on your surcharge payments and you have paid your restoration fee then your license is restored. However, if you are still concerned, it can't hurt to call or visit the motor vehicle commission to make sure that everything was properly registered and deposited and they have listed you as having a valid license. After all, they did make an error before when they didn't deposit your check.
