Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Hit and Run... I didnt do it!

I received a call that my car was reported as being involved in an accident. Unknown to me a side view mirror was hit off a parked car. It was a rainy evening and I dont believe I did this. the police said I will be receiving a summons. I have no damage to my car and I believe this is a mistake. How can I have the charges dropped?

When and if you receive a summons, you're going to advise the court that are pleading not guilty. Contact a lawyer because the penalties include a loss of license. You have a defense.

You must go to court to have the charge dismissed, but be advised that your saying that you did not do it may not make the court believe that it isn't so. Hire an attorney; you could lose your driver's license.

Call me if you like.

First, take photographs of your entire car to show that there is no damage to it. Second, if you get a ticket, call the court and plead NOT GUILTY. Then I would suggest you contact a lawyer to discuss this case since you are facing severe penalties if you are convicted. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Hire a good attorney sooner rather than later. You need a good alibi as well.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
