Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

improper driving nj

I was driving down a wide street where people typically drive as if it is two lanes (no markings) and while doing the speed limit and no more was pulled over for passing on the right. I thought I was just driving in my lane. What determines if a street is a single or a double? I've been down many streets which are unmarked.

I suggest you speak to the prosecutor and explain the situation. Just do it in a calm matter. If you don't like how he deals with you, you can then ask for an attorney.
