Got Improper Turn Ticket that I did not make
I got in an accident in June '06 in Camden, NJ. I was going to turn left off a two-lane two-way highway but before I even could get into the turning lane I was hit on my left drivers side by a truck. Can I be convicted of improper u-turn if i did not even make the turn or come close to it?

Yes you can, even if you did nothing wrong. In municipal court, anything could happen. I suggest going there and speaking the prosecutor to see what you can work out or you can get an attorney.

Although each case is fact specific, I would have to say that if you were even partially into the turn when the accident occurred, then there is a possibility of being convicted of making an illegal turn.
