I forgot to mention i n previous email that my driving record and insurance record before all of this was spotless and always has beenthis is the first time I have done anything pertaining to my vehicle that was unlawfuli dont know that it really matters much to these people though

you didn't mention in your post - were you also charged with driving an uninsured car? That could cause you additional grief, since it comes with a mandatory 1-year license suspension (along with a fine of $300 - $1,000 and other things). The suspension is just a New Jersey suspension, but that could still cause you additional problems with NC.
Again, you need a lawyer to straighten this all out on your behalf.
