Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
New Jersey improper passing question:
Got improper passing ticket because I passed a slow moving car which was in the left lane. I passed using the right lane of the 4 lane road(2 lanes in each direction). The statute is confusing. Is it legal or illegal to pass on the right when there are 2 lanes moving in the same direction?

It depends how the lanes are marked. It is a 4 point ticket so you definitely want to request a court date to speak to the prosecutor. Please feel free to call me to discuss further 201 342 5030.
