leaving the scene of an accident

my boyfriend is being charged with leaving the scene of an accident of a parked car. i understand there may be fines and points, but will he definetly lose his license for 6 months, or if we hire a lawyer, can this be brought down at all? i read that if we make arrangements of fixing the parked car beforehand, this is can be a big help. driving is unfortunately a big part of his job, so this is our main concern.

If your boyfriend is convicted, he could face a mandatory 6 month license suspension. However, there are arguments a lawyer can use to make that less likely. I have had a lot of clients charged with hit and run, and I have always found a way around it.

This is a serious offense, but there could be ways to arrange for some lesser charge that does not require a loss of your boyfriend's license. A conviction for leaving the scene of an accident requires a six month loss of license. It makes good sense to hire an attorney to avoid a conviction for this offense.
