Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

What can I do?

My license was suspended for a year two times in a row. Both for driving while suspended. First time I didnt know it was suspended. Well, in May my boss was driving me to my second job but he had to pick up his son from the babysitter first. He had double parked and while he was inside, a guy that he was blocking was trying to get out. So I got into the driver side and moved up to let him out the street is so tight that I had to go around the block. When I was turning around the corner, a cop that was going the opposite direction makes a U-turn and pulls me over for no seatbelt. I tried to explain but he didnt wanna hear it. My boss came out after he issued me the tickets and tried to help me but the cop told him that he shouldnt of let me behind the wheel. I didnt intentionally drive the car, I just figured it was an emergency. Now I already pleaded not guilty. My second court date is October 4th. What is going to happen to me? I just got my license back. Can I work a deal with the prosecutor?

Re: What can I do?

You are looking at a mandatory 10 days in jail on a third conviction for driving while suspended. An experienced attorney may be able to get you some form of alternative sentence so you don't have to sit in a jail cell for 10 days, though. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-

You seem, for some reason, to want to go to court by yourself. How has that worked for you in the past? Thus, I suggest you at least consult with an attorney before you do anything. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
