Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I live in NJ. If I were to be pulled over for not wearing a motorcycle helmet while riding a motorcycle and am issued a ticket or warning, then, on my way home or the next day on my way to wherever, I am pulled over again by a different officer for the same violation, can he issue another ticket/warning?

here is a better question, If you got a ticket for speeding in whatever town doing 45 in a twenty five and the next day you get stopped by another officer in the same town or another town who believes that you were speeding, could that officer issue a summons for speeding? the answer is yes because one case has nothing to do with the other. If i were you I would wear a helmet so that you can remain alive to ponder the question. good luck
Yes. However, if you were on your way home to get a motorcycle helmet after being stopped by the first police officer, this may be a possbile defense to the second ticket.
