what does it means when your lawyer says he is waiting for discover report .

this case is 19 years old for a dwi .first offensive .now does that mean the case

be thrown out .i am just looking for second oppinion

He probably means that he has requested that the police provide him with a copy of the reports prepared at the time of your being charged with dwi, including the results of any breath test.

It means that he probably sent a letter of appearance to the Court and has requested that the Municipal Prosecutor or the police provide him with the police reports and/or breathalizer test results or any documents that were prepared at the time that you were charged with DWI. Your attorney needs to find out if they can provide him with the reports and if they can, he would review the information to see how strong of a case they may have against you. This is most likely what he is saying to you.
