A minor was in a small traffic accident and the police came to inspect the situation. The next day, the minor went to the police with his mother and she inquired about the police report detailing what had occurred. The police refused her access to it. Is that legal?

Re: Receipt of police report
Sometimes it just takes a few days to prepare. Go back again and ask when it will be ready. There will probably be a small fee for it and you will receive a copy. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
