Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
moving vehicles involved in an accident
If I am involved in an accident should I try to move the car to the side of the road or should I leave it exactly where it stopped until law enforcement arrives? Shouldn't I try to avoid causing another accident? I had an accident last year and was told by emergency staff to leave the car where it was. Now a friend tells me that was illegal.

i believe that i would leave it where it was, so as not to disrupt the accident scene before the police get there.
