In N.J., can police follow you thru their town, see a violation outside their town and then issue a traffic ticket back to the other town.

Do you mean can the officer begin following you in their town and eventually stop you in the neighboring town and issue a summons for an alleged traffic infraction that they believe was committed by you in their town (where they are an officer)? if that is your question the answer is yes hope that helps (201)-342-5030
