Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

NJ unpaid Parking Tickets were Paid but have a Warrant

I moved from TX to NJ in 2006, but carried a TX licence and TX registration on my car. I received 5 parking tickets in 2006 in New Jersey. I just happen to ignore them (unfortunately) and didn't pay them.

Then I moved to a new apartment so didn't get any correspondence from the court whatsoever.

One day in 2007 I heard from an acquaintance that there was a warrant against my name. I quickly paid all my tickets online on NJ DMV website.

I have all the receipts of payment and there is no outstanding ticket on my name anymore.

Will the warrant be canceled automatically or do I need to call someone to get it canceled, now that I have paid all my dues?

Since the Tickets have been paid off, is there any additional charge for the warrant? I don't have the document in hand so don't know the intricate details.

Please advise!

You should be able to just call them and let them know. However, you may have a contempt of court charge out there which would require you to pay the warrant and show up for that.
