Re: NJ/PA dwi reciprocity
If your license is suspended for DWI in New Jersey, it will also be suspended in Pennsylvania. The two states have a reciprocity agreement. If you have any further questions or if you need representation on a DWI matter in NJ, please call me at 1-908-272-0111 to discuss this. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Ronald Aronds, Esq.
Re: NJ/PA dwi reciprocity
There has always been some uncertainty about this question, but the states are part of the interstate compact to exchange information on driving offenses. - In the past, PA has suspended PA privileges for 12 months even though you were also suspended in NJ and in some cases PA takes no action for whatever reason. The latest I have heard is that PA will take no action if the NJ dui is your first. One good way to check this out is to contact the PA dmv and anonymously inquire about this question and/or check the PA and NJ DMV websites for more info.
The best way to handle this, however, is to agressively defend the NJ dui if there is a basis - An attorney may be able to find something to help you beat the ticket or, at least, plead to a lesser charge - I offer free consults on DUI/related matters - feel free to contact me via e-mail or telephone (856)616-8080.

You should call Pennsylvania Motor Vehicles to find out. You should pick the right attorney and make the strongest attempt to be found not guilty.
