Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
If I pay for a friends court ticket online, will I be seen as the one that committed the crime?

First answer is no. If it is a traffic ticket then it does not relate to a crime. If the ticket can be paid on line it can't be that serious so it really should not matter.

Usually if the ticket has the box Court appearance required the Court web site will not permit you to pay the ticket on line so there really should be little cause for concern. However, as stated if you pay the fine it will not show up on your record or drivers abstract. Anyway I hope that fully answers your question.
