Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
When a plantiff is sopoened, what exactly does that mean. what happens if they don't show up?

Normally a plaintiff would receive a Notice to Appear at a deposition and not a subpoena (though they could be given asubpoen duces tecum which will require the production of documents). Failure to appear at a depostion without good cause could result in sanctions and could prove detrimental to the plaintiff's case.
