Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
Probable cause?
I was traveling on an interstate in Bergen County, NJ. When i was pulled over by a town officer. He told me while he was reading liscense plates checking for stolen cars my name popped up on his computer showing him I had suspended registration. This was the only reason for the stop. I had not commited any moving violations. I have pleaded not-guilty because of this. DO I HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON? PROBABLE CAUSE, MAYBE???? Thank you.
