Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
receive a mail-in ticket
I just learned that I have a traffic ticket on ''Turn on Red'' about 10days ago. However, I was not stopped or pulled over. The police just wrote down the licenese plate and issued the ticket to me. I went to the court and even found that the officer was not on duty that day. (The ticket was issued the second day). THe intersection has no ''No turn on red'' sign and I remembered I turned right, maybe on red light. Is this right? Thanks!

The officer may have been off duty when he saw the alleged violation. He have written down the wrong license plate. Call me.
