Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I received a ticket for illegal handicap parking,39:4-1380. The placard was invalid and the owner was dropped at the mall door before i parked. She obtained the card from a friend 7 years ago. I had no prior knowledge of the laws or how my aunt had obtained the card. I have a mandatory court date for 10/11/11. How much trouble am I in? Any chance of a reduced charge? I was totally blindsided by this.
