Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I RECENTLY PURCHASE A NEW CAR, THE DEALER PUT A TEMPORY LICENSE PLATE ON THE CAR WITH A DATE TYPED WHICH WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE DATE THAT WAS HAND WRITTEN BY A MARKER. I WAS STOPPED BY A COP CLAIMING THAT THE LICENSE PLATE WAS TAMPERED WITH AND NOW I WILL BE GOING TO COURT. WHAT ADVISE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ME SO THAT I WILL NOT BE CHARGE ANYTHING.
