Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
No signs
The aren't any ''NO PARKING'' signs on my street. Yet every night beginning at 2am the donut brigade patrols our neighborhood, donating parking tickets to anyone parked on our street. I called city hall, and the over-night parking permits are not PERMITTED for use on my street. Why is this fare that we pay for our town not to provide either a place for us to park, a permitt for sale or a simple sign that says, ''NO PARKING'' so that people are not so confused!? Can these tickets be faught and won 99% of the time?

It is very rare that a parking ticket case goes to trial. However, you would seem to have a great defense, at least for the first trial. Once you get at ticket, you are on notice at that point. Did you send a letter to your mayor?
