Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
i was sitting in a fire zone behind a shopping center waiting for my girlfriend to come out of work i fell asleep and when i woke up there was a ticket on the window.... there was not a sign that says no sitting or standing can i fight the ticket.

Yes you always have the option of taking the case to trial, it doesn't mean that you will win, but you never know, Usually you are not permitted to park in a fire zone, but you can fight it and explain your psoition to the Judge, you would be wise to speak to the prosecutor before hand, good luck
