For one incident of speeding there should be one speeding ticket. Two tickets could issue if the speeding occurred in two different towns, but that can be dealt with.

You should only receive one ticket in a case where an officer believes that you are speeding. However, it can happen and I have dealt with a situation where the driver was issued several tickets for speeding because the officer followed the person for several blocks and issued separate tickets claiming the individual was exceeding the posted limit in several different posted zones. It could conceivably happen in certain situations but it really should not and can be dealt with when the case goes to Court. As Mr. Moore stated, it could happen in different towns and every case differs on its facts. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss it. (201)-894-9498
