stop sign requirements
Is it a requirement to have a stop sign at 4 street corners (cross roads that have 4 streets coming together)?

Generally speaking, no such law exists. State statute permits governing bodies to have such signs. Whether those signs will be placed is a determination made by local officials, if municipal roads are involved, county officials if county roads are involved, or state officials if state roads are involved.
