Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Suspended lic.

My fiance has a suspended licence in new jersey for not appearing in court in the state of florida, that was seven years ago. I call the court system and they told me he had to due a ''walk in booking'' down there and wait for a court date and there is no way he can just pay a fine and be done with it. The court daye was for driving on a suspended licence. We can't afford any time of work to go down to fl. Is there any way we can paid the find in jersey , so my fiance can get his licence back. Thanks
