Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Suspended licence

I recently moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. I have an upcoming court date in New Jersey that may result in my license being suspended. I need to obtain a PA license since I have been there for a few months. If I obtain my PA license and then my NJ license is suspended, what do I do with my PA one? Must I disclose my new license to the New Jersey judge prior to the trial?

Re: Suspended licence

The judge in NJ can only suspend your NJ driving privileges. However, whatever happens in New Jersey will be reported to the PA Division of Motor Vehicles, and THEY will make the determination as to whether your license should be suspended in PA. Depending upon the type of ticket you have, an attorney may be able to help you avoid getting your license suspended. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout NJ in the past. Please contact me to discus your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
