Re: suspension of DL

I have handled cases similar to yours many times in the past. It will take a thorough review of your abstract to determine who exactly I need to contact and to then try to work out a resolution to your problems. This can ususally be done through phone calls and letters instead of going to court. I cannot do this for free, but I will quote you my standard fee of $300.00 for municipal court cases to handle this problem for you. This is also equivalent to two hours of my time at my $150.00/hour fee schedule, even though in reality I will probably have to spend more than two hours on your case. If this fee is acceptable to you then please call me at 908-272-0111 to discuss your case. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Ronald Aronds, Esq.

Re: suspension of DL

It is not clear from your question whether all your violations, suspensions, etc., are in New Jersey, or whether you also have issues regarding your driver's record in other states.

An attorney should be able to help you obtain your current status in New Jersey from the Motor Vehicle Commission. It would then be your responsibility to pay off whatever fines, etc., have been imposed to clear your record, and if necessary, to do the same in other states.

Once your record has been cleaned up, and you are deemed eligible to receive a license in NJ by the NJ MVC, you would then have to go through the necessary steps to actually obtain a license--i.e. written test, driving test, vision test.

Concerning whether or not you would be able to negotiate reductions of any fines you might have due, again, that is something that you need to specifically discuss with an attorney that you have actually hired.

Concerning your ability to get an attorney to work for you "pro bono", again, that is something that you would have to take up with an individual attorney.

I strongly recommend that you consult with an attorney immediately so that you can explore your legal rights, obligations, and options. If you wish to discuss retaining my services, contact me at:
