Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I got four tickets recently, one for going 75 mph in a 25 mph zone, a reckless driving ticket, GDL Decal Violation, and window tints. Honestly, this was a stupid mistake I made.
1. 75 mph in a 25 mph zone and a reckless driving ticket: I'm pleading guilty.
2. GDL Decal Violation: I'm 18 but I did not know that I needed to renew my basic drivers license to take the decals off. I completed one whole year with the probational license, so I thought I was fine. I will plead guilty to this also.
3. Tints: When I bought this car, it came tinted. I thought it was fine if the dealership was able to sell a tinted car. This is the truth, so would I be able to not plead guilty to this in court?
I'm 18 and my first ticket turned into my first four.
I live in New Jersey, so will I be convicted of any type of criminal charges?
Will this go down as a criminal background?
Would you be able to estimate how many points I would get for each of these violations?
Sorry for all of these questions, I'm really scared. I never got into an accident in my life. So, it was just the reckless driving and the other tickets. No accidents.

Curiously you are asking a question by advising how you will handle the case. Your plan is not a good one. You need to consult with an attorney before you do anything in court or otherwise. Call me, if you like.
You need to get an attorney ASAP. You are facing at least 9 points possible jail and very probable license suspension. An attorney will not be a miracle but can lessen the penalties.

pleading guilty to speeding 50 miles over the speed limit is a bad idea it is a 5 point ticket and the reckless also carries 5 mv points so you are facing 10 points and a suspension on those two tickets alone, this can be worked out. i have handled these types of cases for twenty years. please call me (201)-342-5030. i never charge a fee to speak to someone about their case, Do not handle this without a lawyer
