Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

Traffic citation Red Light

If a police officer issued a traffic ticket for failing to stop at a red light, neglected to indicate the location and place, the year of the vehicle and the time and hour of the incident on the summons, are these legitimate grounds for requesting a dismissal of the ticket?

If so, what law supports those grounds?

You might be on to something. The problem is that the officer has about thirty days to correct his mistakes. You should give me a call.

Call me if you like.

I have to disagree with Mr. Moore. This almost never works. It should, but it doesn't. You can bring this to the court's attention right away, but then the cop can correct it. Or you could wait to trial and the judge may let it in anyway and at that point, its too late to plea out. If its really worth it, may be better for you to consult with an attorney.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
