Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

traffic volation

My son received a ticket for driving while his license was suspended. He never received a notice of suspenion until the same day he received the ticket. The ticket was issued in the morning and he received the notice when the mail arrived in the afternoon. Can he fight this charge? He appeared in court and plea not guilty.

Re: traffic volation

Depending upon WHY he was suspended, he may be able to get this ticket dismissed if he brings the suspension notice from DMV with him to to court and shows it to the prosecutor when he gets a new court date. I would need to know why he was suspended before I could give you a definite answer, however. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

He should be able to beat the charge. Save the envelope the notice came in and the notice in court. You should hire and attorney.

Call me if you like.
