Violations Bureau causing change to traffic summons

Is it lawful for municipal Violatiions Bureau to dierect officer to amend ordinance on traffic summons to fit alllegation without defendent's

knowledge.

there are rules about when and how the ticket can be changed. A lawyer would need to look at the ticket and give you advice.

You should get a lawyer if the ticket is serious at all. Most lawyers will cost, oh, maybe $500.00 for a not-too-serious offense. More for really big problems. You have to decide, but it may be worth the money.

It is lawful, but the change must be made wihin the applicable time limitation for the offense charged.
